    This is a great book to start you off on Pilates. I bought it because I felt the on line apps were a rip off, as they start off free, but want money as you go. Here, you buy the book and it goes from beginner to two higher levels and is very clear and easy to use. It has great photographs to demonstrate the positions you should be in and detailed instructions on what you should and should not be doing. Really please with this book

The information on Pilates terminology and beginning poses are well explained, I’m looking forward to this new program. I’m sure if your not new to this you may not enjoy it as much but it does a little more for non newbies.

    This is the most precise explanation of the Pilates process. I studied Pilates in Los Angeles in the 70s, and have diverse opportunities to take classes in Brazil (where I have lived for over 30 years). But on a recent trip to Italy, I had a chance to take a class and suddenly remembered why I had been so fascinated with this discipline.

    Now, at last, exactly what I wanted in a book! Thank you for your diligence !

    This book is an excellent aid to those that would like to do Pilates at home because it explains how to move. I know that might sound like an odd statement but, for those that are unfamiliar with Pilates it is terrific to help one understand how to properly execute the exercises, not just mimic what it should look like.
    For those that have done Pilates, I recommend it, too. it will help bring awareness to the targeted muscles. If you take Pilates anywhere it will help you gain insight to your technique to further your practice and have you work smarter.

The book is written by NYC local celebrity twins that have an iconic studio Pilates on Fifth in Bryant Park. I met them once at a dance event at Pace University and they are amazing people..very warm and beautiful!

    I really appreciate the easy-to-follow instructions that accompanied the illustrations and photos. I am about the least flexible guy on the planet but as a former college football player, I do understand my body and how it moves. After working these Pilates regimens into my normal workouts, I feel longer and looser and can already feel my other workout sessions getting better!
